PixVerse V6 Max Image to Video: Animate Photos with Sound

Last verified: October 29, 2026

PixVerse V6 Max animates a still image into a video clip. With the Generate Audio switch on, the clip also comes back with sound generated alongside the picture. You supply the image and a prompt that describes how the scene should move, then pick a length and a resolution, and the result is ready to download. That makes PixVerse V6 Max image-to-video a direct way to turn a product shot, portrait or landscape you already have into footage with sound.

In this mode the picture is where the clip starts and the prompt tells it where to go. The model's own image-to-video request is made of the same parts: the image, a prompt, a clip length, an output quality, an audio switch and a seed. Each of them has a matching control here.

Video Duration and Resolution set how long and how detailed the clip is, and Generate Audio decides whether it has sound. Enhance Prompt helps when you have the idea but not the wording yet. The sections below cover what each setting changes, how to word a prompt for a still that has to move, and what to do when a run goes wrong.

Prompt Tips for Animating a Still Image

Describe the Motion, Not the Picture

Use the prompt for what should change: the action, the camera's behavior and any shift in light. Leave out what the photo already shows, because re-describing the uploaded image is a known cause of subject drift in image-to-video. PixVerse's advice is to add a plain stability line instead, for example asking to keep the subject intact and preserve its silhouette, material, background and composition. If you pick an Enhance Prompt suggestion that restates the scene, trim those parts before you generate.

Use Concrete Visual Cues Instead of Quality Words

Generic quality adjectives and vague style labels are common reasons video prompts fail, so replace them with specific visual cues. Name the light source, the material it hits and the texture of the movement. 'Late sun raking across brushed aluminum' gives the model more to work with than 'premium look'. When you rerun a prompt, keep those cues word for word, so any change in the result comes from your edit and not from new phrasing.

How to Animate an Image with PixVerse V6 Max

Five steps from a still image to a downloaded clip.

When to Start from an Image Instead of a Prompt

A quick check on whether your project belongs on this generator.

What the clip starts from This generator requires a still image plus a prompt, and the picture you upload is what gets animated. PixVerse V6 Max text-to-video works from a written prompt alone, so there is no image to upload. Pick image-to-video when a specific photo, product shot or artwork has to be what moves on screen, and pick text-to-video when you have only an idea and no picture yet.
If you have the picture, animate it here. If you only have the idea, the same model's text-to-video mode is the better fit.

Fixes for Common Image-to-Video Problems

What usually goes wrong when animating a still, and what to change before the next run.

The camera shakes or the motion looks jittery.

Conflicting camera movements in one prompt and speed words such as fast or quick are both common failure points, and speed words in particular cause jitter. Keep one camera instruction per clip, a push-in or a pan but not both, and describe the action itself instead of how fast it happens. Then generate again with the other settings unchanged so you can see what the edit did.

I asked for several actions at once and the clip turned into a mess.

Overloaded prompts and overloaded motion are known weak points of video generation, alongside temporal drift and subject inconsistency. Cut the prompt down to one main action and at most one supporting detail, keep the camera instruction separate, and run it again. Each action you removed can get a run of its own.

My prompt won't fit in the box.

The Prompt box has a character limit, and a pasted shot list or a long Enhance Prompt suggestion can reach it. Cut any description of what the photo already shows first, then merge repeated adjectives. Keep the motion, camera and sound cues, since those do the work in this mode. No other setting needs to change, so generate once the prompt fits.

My image won't upload.

Image only accepts certain file types, and it has a maximum file size and a minimum pixel size (see the upload question in the FAQ). Convert formats such as HEIC, TIFF or GIF to one of the accepted types. Re-save a file that is too heavy at a lower compression quality, and replace a very small picture with a larger original. Then upload again. Your prompt and settings stay as they are.

I need a video longer than the longest duration.

Clip length stops at the longest Video Duration option, so build longer pieces in segments. Generate the first part, then export a still from near its end. Upload that still in Image for the next part, with a prompt that continues the action, and join the clips in an editor. Keep the same Resolution and Generate Audio setting for every segment so the parts match when you join them.

Frequently Asked Questions

What image files can I upload to PixVerse V6 Max, and how big can they be?

The Image field accepts JPG, JPEG, PNG and WEBP files of up to 10 MB that are at least 300×300 pixels. The image is required, and so is a prompt. If your original is over the size limit, re-save it as a high-quality JPG or WEBP rather than cutting its dimensions, so you keep as much of the original detail as possible.

How many videos does one run give me?

Each run returns one video. To compare different takes of the same idea, make each one a separate run.

Why does one PixVerse V6 Max clip cost more than another?

The credit cost is calculated from the options you choose and appears above the Generate button once you are signed in. Three settings change it: Video Duration, Resolution and Generate Audio. Check the figure after adjusting any of them. Enhance Prompt suggestions don't use credits.

Does Enhance Prompt overwrite what I wrote?

No. Enhance Prompt, the button under the prompt box, suggests fuller prompts based on your rough idea. Your text only changes when you pick one of the suggestions, and you can still edit it before you click Generate.
