Kling Image O3 Image to Image: Restyle and Reframe Photos
Last verified: October 19, 2026
Kling Image O3 reworks a picture the way a director reworks a shot. It follows cinematic shot techniques and keeps composition and perspective in line with what the prompt asks for. Add the photo you want to change in Add Image, describe the new shot in the Prompt box (the angle, the light, the style), and set Aspect Ratio to the frame you are delivering. With Kling Image O3 image to image, one upload is the picture you transform, and any other images carry references into the result, such as a face, a product or a setting.
The model is built for professional work such as film storyboards, concept art, pre-visualization and scene design. Its perception of fine detail is tuned to capture small elements of the source and reproduce them consistently. In practice, a photo you already have (a location scout, a product shot, a test portrait) is a workable starting point for that kind of planned, shot-by-shot work.
The Vidofy form keeps the job focused. Several images can go into one run, the frame can be square, portrait or landscape, and Resolution goes from a quick draft size up to a large final file. Use your first runs to test the prompt and to find out which references are worth keeping. Raise Resolution only once the composition is right.

Five steps from upload to download.
Kling Image O3 or Nano Banana Pro for Image Editing?
How the two compare on the edits creators most often ask for, and on what each form offers.
| Criterion | Kling Image O3 | Nano Banana Pro | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Camera angle and lighting changes | It is documented to show a subject from front, side, rear, low-angle and top views, and its examples also adjust lighting and overall tone. | Nano Banana Pro is documented to adjust camera angles, change focus, apply color grading and transform scene lighting, for example from day to night. | Both models are documented for angle and lighting edits, so run the same upload and prompt through each and keep the one that preserves your subject's proportions and materials better. |
| Keeping people recognizable | It keeps a face recognizable from close-ups to mid-long shots, and in group scenes of three or more characters it holds each person's features separately. | Nano Banana Pro keeps up to five people consistent and recognizable when it blends several images into one. | Both are documented for keeping several people consistent, so for group edits, test the same cast photos on each and judge the faces at the shot size you will actually deliver. |
| Targeted edits inside an existing scene | Its documented examples replace a person in an existing shot with someone from another image and change a subject's facial expression. | Nano Banana Pro offers localized editing that can select, refine and transform any part of an image. | Both handle targeted changes, so give each the same instruction (what to change and what to keep) and pick the one that leaves the untouched areas cleaner. |
| Uploads and settings on Vidofy | The form takes several images plus a text prompt, and its aspect ratio, resolution and file format choices are identical to those on the Nano Banana Pro form. | Its form accepts the same number, formats and sizes of images and the same prompt length, with matching aspect ratio, resolution and file format options. | Settings won't separate the two, which makes a fair side-by-side test easy: use identical uploads, prompt and settings on both, then compare the results. |

Frequently Asked Questions
Which images can I upload to Kling Image O3, and how many?
Add Image takes 1 to 8 images per run in JPG, JPEG, PNG or WEBP format. Each file can be up to 10 MB and must be at least 300×300 pixels. At least one image is required before you can generate. When you add several, include only the images that each contribute something specific to the result.
Can I use Kling Image O3 without a starting image?
Not here: this generator needs an image in Add Image before it can run. To start from a prompt alone, use Kling Image O3 Text To Image, then bring the result back here when you want to edit it.
What makes one generation cost more than another?
The credit cost of a run is calculated from the options you choose and appears above the Generate button once you're signed in. Resolution is the setting that changes it, so check the figure above Generate after switching to a different resolution.
Is the 4K output just an upscaled smaller image?
No. The model generates 2K and 4K output directly, without an external upscaling step, which keeps the textures and lighting it produces at that size. Pick 4K under Resolution when the image is headed for print or large screens. A smaller size is enough for testing prompts.
How many images does one run return?
Each run returns 1 image. For variations, click Generate again with the same uploads, or change one part of the prompt between runs so you can compare the results side by side and see which wording made the difference.
Can I keep editing an image I've already generated?
Yes. Download it, add it back in Add Image and write the next change in Prompt. If you plan several passes, save as PNG so each round doesn't add compression, and check that the file is still within the upload size limit before adding it back.
